I would only get it if its currently jailbreakable and able to go under another service provider other than what you're forced to go with, otherwise the iPhone is kind of a waste of money compared to similarly priced smartphones.

There aren't too many things that make the iPhone 4 the best.
The only things that I can think of that the iphone is superior is the screen and its aesthetics (and thats only if you like having something everyone else has)

i swithed over from bold to iphone 4 and i dont regret it. Sure BB had some features that were better (BBM/calendar), but iphone has much better camera/video recording/apps, faster processor. As for recepetion issue, hasnt happened to me yet.
waiting for the ios 4.1 jailbreak to come out
BB torch 9800 shud be a very good competition to the phone.
