Iam a male, in my 1st year at uni in engg...
till the time I was in high school I usually liked girls just for their looks..but now(I haven't even completed a year here) and I like girls with brains and not just the ones who fall on every other guy to get their work done...I think that idea ties in to the fact mentioned by someone else as to how you see women trying to set their position up in society..but quite frankly I look at a person for the amount of hard work they put in...gender really does not make a difference to me

Hmm have my views/opinions changed towards the male gender...I would say not really. My high school was a mix of different kinds of people, I haven't found uni to be much different. All/most of the guy friends I have made here have similarities to ones back home.

To answer the original question.. Not really. I mean everyone matured a little bit, but not the point where my view of the entire male gender changed from the transition from high school to university.

Me? Negative? I wouldn't have made it into 4th year engineering if I was negative. I would have quit after I got my arse handed to me in the first engineering test I wrote.

But anyways, that is not the point. You may have that point of view on the show. My opinion is not going to change, I will still argue that the writers want to milk the show. Besides that, isn't the name of the show "HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER"? So basically the first idea you would get from such a title is that the show is a story about how a guy met his wife. It's logical my dear Watson.
