Help In Reinstatement!!!!
Warning: This post has been reportedThis post has been flagged as violating the MacInsiders Code Of Conduct, and is being reviewed by one of our staff. It may contain offensive material. Click here to view.
I will come straight to the point. I did my first year in McMaster 2years ago in Life Sciences, got kicked out because of low grades.
Than I filled in for reinstatement, in which I simply said that I screwed up. Got REJECTED!!!
Did nothing for a year.
Applied again got REJECTED!!!
Than when I talked to Mac counselor's they asked me to do a college for one year. The special program people do in college to get back to University.
Last year, I took the full course load which is 6 courses each term. Took all the courses that are important, like physiology, sociology, biology, etc.
I want to do my major in physiology. In Both the terms, I scored 86 and 88.
My lowest mark is a 75 from both term. And my overall is 83 for the year.
Now, I am going to apply for reinstatement again. And I made some jhot key point's. Needed advice so that I can raise my chances of getting back.
Here are the jhot points:- Scoring consistent through out the whole year, which a minimum of 75 and scoring in the subjects like physiology, sociology, etc.
- Learned how to manage my time, Planned my day properly. Got advices from teacher's and actually implemented them in a good manner for a better result which can be seen in my transcript.
- Getting one reference letter from one of the teacher's.
I want to get back into first year!!
Are these point enough!!!! If not please feel free to guide me. Once, I am good with the point's, I will start writing my letter.
Thanks in advance for help... (Matter's alot )

I'm not sure what you mean by jhot points...but read the billion other threads on reinstatement, they all say the same thing.

Not trying to cause trouble here, but how was anyone suppose to know that you read those other threads if its not in your post. No one can assumed that you did b/c you never mentioned it. I can understand how frustrating your situation is since some of my friends also apply for reinstatement, i don't think that is the right altitude you should be displaying if you are asking for help.

The advice is the same anyways. You didn't give any insight into your specific situation, so how do you expect anything else?

May I didn't convey my message in the proper manner. Like with my overall 83 average and as I told you about my subjects.
Is this good? I am also writing the letter now, Will post in few days for review.

That doesn't say anything about what caused you to get kicked out in the first place, though.
Also, before you post your letter, please have someone edit it for grammar.

Mr Singh..
So I've been reinstated.
Essentially just tell them the following:
Where you went wrong.
What you did to fix it.
What you did in your time off to help your future academic pursuits.
Why it won't happen again.
Your plan of action.
*Avoid emotionally driven letters, if you must, conclude with 1 or 2 emotional sentences.

Lol obviously you got kicked out because of low grades. Why did you get those low grades though? That's what matters. Also see ZSimon's post.

It will.
Your college grades are great. Please try to relax.
I don't want to get your hopes up but your chances are really good with progress like that.
Take some time today to congratulate yourself and pat yourself on the back.

... Everyone who gets kicked out has low grades. McMaster isn't interested in that, they already know it. They want to know why you got low grades and what you have done to remedy the situation.
