You should take as many of the required courses as possible. Entering co-op requires completion of level 2 of that program, and because of the work-study sequences it might be hard to catch up. You should talk to an academic advisor.

You should really talk to an academic advisor. They are the ones that will ultimately switch you. The program does have a limited number of seats though, so entry into the program depends on that as well.

If you look at the undergraduate calendar, MBG doesn't have certain courses for each year but rather all of them under II-IV. Obviously the higher up courses have pre-req's, but if you have enough leeway in Life Sci to choose most of the courses on that list, you can use whatever mandatory Life Sci courses as electives for MBG when and if you transfer. I, myself, am trying to transfer out of MBG into Biochem, and you need at least a 9.0 to be considered for a transfer, so keep that in mind. You may also want to e-mail Kathy McIntosh and ask about secondary acceptance into MBG for this September.

As has already been stated, you should really speak to an academic advisor or the co-op office, they can give you much more accurate information than anyone on here.
