Correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure this is a book that has baffled linguists for quite some years, the language that is used has never been deciphered, although they know it was drawn/written by a Spanish man sometime near the 15th Century if i remember correctly.
So little is known of the semantics of the language used that some believe it is simply a fabricated language altogether, composed by a deranged man. Really interesting if you want to learn more about it. I'll try and track down the name of the book.
