I'm sort of thinking you get one when you get your keys. But I forget.

The telecom package is basically just an envelope that has phone and internet setup instructions in it. It also contains your long distance access code and PIN number.
Oh, and to scott000, you're welcome... It's my mission to try to prevent as many people as possible people from getting ripped off by FutureShop when they buy a printer, heh. One caveat to what I said that I remembered afterwards (although it may not apply in this case) is that many of the dollar store USB cables are only rated for USB 1.1 transfer speeds, not USB 2.0 which is much faster. So if your peripheral needs USB 2.0, make sure the cable is marked as such (if these aren't available at dollar stores, then those other discount computer/electronics stores that I mentioned will certainly have them). But if it's just a printer, then it's probably unnecessary - but check the instructions anyway (if it has an integrated media card reader or something, then it may call for a USB 2.0 cable).

you can get the usb cables from Canada computers, there is a shop located not to far from mac. Chad, just wondering is there a way to setup the router with dhcp activated, so i can use my printer via network? I had to disable it last year in order for internet to work properly.

I've been told that the internet cable is already in the room waiting for you when you get there.

Okay sweet, cause in one of packages it said to go to a certain website to get phone usage and all the website had was long distance for off-campus students. I thought I had missed something. Thank you!

Yeah, as of 2 years ago, you got all the phone/long distance info when you picked up your keys on move-in day. I imagine it's still the same way.
