Most elevators will shut jump if you jump though. It's part of the safety system. The quick deceleration caused by landing can simulate the elevator falling down. All in relativity of course.

Hahahahahahaha, you think that's bad... last year the elevators broke down right around move out time.

300+ incredibly pissed off students, with a year's worth of stuff to move home was a fun fun sight....

I figure it probably broke down the first night during the CLAY conference due to moving everyone's stuff by almost filling up the elevator till the sensor beep on overload.

Yup... I also brought a lot of my own furniture and I ended up having to dismantle it all and carry it piece by piece down the stairs. Not impressed.

To be fair though, they did try to help out by hiring movers and stuff...

Yeah, I just wasn't sure what time I was moving out, so I couldn't feasibly book them. :(

Just wondering..does anyone know if room 626 is far away from the elevator/civilization?
>_> Last yr, I had 314 and it was hidden all the way in the corner.

625 is next to 626, not across the hall. (Unless you're at the end of the hall).
And if I remember correctly, 626 would be somewhere near the study room, (on the side facing the back)

I'm so glad I got in LP!! I had my fingers crossed for the longest time before I checked the residence portal and found out my assignment. Anyone know the relative location of room 612?

I also got LP, thankfully. I'm on the first floor though so I can't quite tell if that's a good thing or bad. Also, do any of the past students remember which side an even number (126A) would face?

I think you'll be glad you're on the first floor...especially when the elevators start breaking down. I remember my friends who lived on the 6th floor just took the stairs all the time 'cause the elevators were down most of the time.

It actually says, " Floor: Les Prince -1N" Does that mean it's sub ground level, or is the dash just an indicator as to what floor?
