I wouldn't go into anything science related if you're getting 60-70's in bio and chem :/

Maybe you'd be better off in physical sciences. first year is fairly similar to life science, except you take astronomy and stuff instead of bio, but most physical science students take first year chem, physics, math, etc. And from what you said you seem to be more confident in your math and physics skills than your bio and chem skills.

Life Sci: Turning you down before you give them money.
Engineering: Taking your money and letting you figure out that it maybe wasn't for you
Now that's why we take engineering economics!

Yeah there's a guy in one of my tutorials who should be in 3rd year eng., but decided he didn't like it. He's now switching into humanities. That SUCKS.

I think my advice to you would be based on why you didn't do well last semester.
Did you struggle with the material or did you just not apply yourself? Was overloading in Grade 12 too much? If you struggled with the bio material which part gave you the problems? I would personally make contingency plans in case things don't work out. Either apply into Soc Sci and attempt to switch in second year, attend another fine Kin program, or take a an extra semester to redo chem and bio and then a semester off to work (or take Data management at some point in your victory lap).
To address what Exercise Science is: It's basically a brief survey of Level I and II Kinesiology. It covers some material from 1A03/1AA3, 1E03, 1F03, 2A03, 2C03, 2CC3 and 2E03. There's a tiny bit of 1C03, 2G03 and 2F03 and there's nothing from 1G03.

Not too sure about grade calculations but just would like to say ( and i guess im very biased) but I am SO happy I chose KIN over Life sci ( i applied and was accepted to both ) -Much less struggling while still having a very science packed course load ( but science taught in a more application way)
just saying..

This semester I got a 68 in bio :(
I know it will be used as a pre req mark in my TOP 6.
I know I can atleast get an 87-88 avg for Top 6, as i am very confident with my courses for second semester (Calc, Eng, Phys, excercise sci) So basically all im asking is, even if my TOP 6 avg is aorund 87-88 , will they penalize me for still having a 68 in bio? Should I retake the course?
1st semester
bio-68
chem- 72
religion- 83
functions - 86
2nd semester
calc -
excercise science-
physics-
eng-
I am not planing to use my chem and religion mark in my top 6.

they choose the top six to look at... it is done in your favour... so whichever combination gives you the highest average is the one they will consider (including the required 12U courses listed in the calendar + the highest of the other marks)
but anyway, doesnt look pretty... not gonna lie.. if u did that bad in gr 12 bio maybe you should reconsider which program is right for you

now i got good work experience and a good average and I know the subjects really well so it will be easier in university then having 60-70s in high school

Introductions on the first day of English tutorials.
Random girl: Hi, my name _____________, and I should be in 3rd year Commerce, but I decided I have morals, so I switched to Humanities. Haven't regretted it.
lizziepizzie's story is plausible.
