Ditto. Minus the lacrosse. I like hot boxing very much

Also, until our homecoming has more of a Queens aspect to it, I'll keep observing from afar.
By Queens aspect, I mean 3-5 thousand people on one street drinking.

Hey, they operated just fine for quite some time. It only got stupid when kids from high school showed up.
I know some kids from my old high school in grade 11 that went. They don't even know anyone there.
As long as we can stop it from turning into a mini-spring break over one night, then it'll be okay.
And punch anyone under 17/18.

Gar. Maybe we could hot box a street? Worth a shot....
I think misterp and Ben should fight it out. With the Homecoming Signs. Outside BSB. Tomorrow at noon. Be there.

Umm, those lawn signs don't cost that much. At most a couple students athletic fees paid for it.

>implying that money couldn't be spent better somewhere else
and I'm not opposed to the signs. it doesn't bother me, so I don't care.
Now, the SRA/MSU and everything they do, that's another issue...

it's a waste of time and money.
student jobs, lolno
services, haven't used a single service all year. all are shit.
quarters/1280, don't get me started.
[edit: health/dentalplans, is a good thing, but it's not like the MSU did anything special for this, almost every university has plans for students.]
the only people here advocating the MSU are those involved with it in some way (e.g. on the SRA/bod, or are part of a service like the Maroons for example). The only people who vote for SRA/MSU positions are those directly involved or know someone, or just stupid people.
The only decent service is EFRT, and even then, I can just call 911 for emergencies.
representing students, lobbying. what was the last thing lobbied, that actually made changes, that I would care about?

Has anyone heard of Rev Wear? welll it's a fashion show promoting clothing that raises awareness about issues including the ENVIRONMENT. And I'm going to be designing some pieces so I'll be sure to grab some signs and make a few awesome dresses out of them...for all those concerned environmentalists...

Wow, my friends and I were talking about coming back at like 3 in the morning and kicking down those signs.
Not that we actually would but...
MAN, SO ANNOYING! I'm walking down University ave, towards Main, and there's like what, 30 of them? It's like they think we're retarded and we need to read it 30-40 times before we can understand that Homecoming is coming up. I get that the material is reusable, but goddamn, put it to better use than that.

It doesn't bother me. It's a promotion method for a huge event so I understand why they would have so many signs up to advertise. I don't see how it bothers anyone else...Just walk past the signs and ignore them. It's really not that big of a deal.

No kidding. There's enough on sterling but when I was passing through the BSB fields, they are literally bombarding the edge of the pathways.
This is what it looks like:
x____x____x____x___x_ ____x__x___
___x____x___x_____x__ _x____x___x
(x represnting the signs, _______ representing the pathways).
It's not necessary. We get it, you need to advertise. No one's arguing that (certainly not me). But christ, if I'm so stupid that I can't read the first 5 signs, the other 20 aren't gonna accomplish much.
