Some companies don't have SAFs... like Virgin. I don't think Fido or Solo have SAFs either.

Neither does Koodo, and they don't have contracts either. But the "tab" pretty much forces you to stay with them.

I hope so. Afterall, it could be just for promotion, who knows :(

Yeah, the "tab" it's pretty much the equivalent of a cancellation fee.

Yup, unless you refer people, that way they take $25 off your tab and $25 off for the other person too, its not too bad. I also heard if you complain, like we were talking about before they will replace your phone.

I'm both an optimist and a realist and to tell you the truth this stuff is long overdue and its quite possible so it does make sense. If all these other companies could do it for less in other nations then we are good to go

Agreed! I read somewhere recently, that Canada is among the top nations in terms of phone plans. It was like a random survey. But to be honest, it kinda makes sense, that the standards of living in Canada are pretty high, though cell phone plans shouldn't be inflated to this point.

Yup we do pay like the 3rd most in developed nations. And the standard of living is also high in the U.S. but they get much better deals.
