Mac Student Card Transit Pass
Does anyone know if our student card works for Burlington transit?
I don't assume that it does, but has anyone ever tried doing this?

Thanks!

No, it doesn't work in Burly.
Very unfortunate for us commuters. :(

I believe you can ask for transfer at HSR driver and use it on BT. I've tried that before.

while i havent tried it myself,I remember in a conversation about how to pay as little as possible for go transit, someone suggest the following. Get n a bus that goes into burlington , ask for a transfer at the bus there. So what i suggest is Get on a burlington bus in hamilton ie the A or B lines. the 10 passes by campus. Then ask for a tranfers when you get on that bus. good luck. but dont overly quote me since i havent tried this myslf

As long as you get a transfer when you get onto an HSR bus, you can go onto any Burlington bus which comes into Hamilton. The most common route to take is the Burlington #1 which comes into downtown Hamilton via York to Jackson Square. The #1 then goes to Aldershot Go, Mapleview Mall, Burlington Go, etc. If you want to transfer from the #1 to another Burlington Transit bus, you'll need to trade in your HSR transfer for a Burlington transfer as soon as you get on the Burlington bus.

When you want to come back from Burlington, you will need to pay the fare to get on the Burlington bus or have a Burlington transit ticket. I believe 5 packs of tickets are available from Compass for $12.50 (otherwise its $3 cash fare).

Joey says thanks to dsahota for this post.
