MacInsiders and McMaster Athletics and Recreation have teamed up to bring you a co-branded
forum all about athletics and sport. As part of the university's
Colour Your Passion campaign, we wanted to create a space for students to be able to talk about all sports - not just McMaster sports, but everything from intramurals, to working out, to professional sport.
"MacInsiders has grown tremendously over the past few years and it is a credit to the hard work of Chad Fullerton and his staff that it is an ideal place for students to meet online" said Parrish Offer, Business Development Coordinator.
Athletics and Recreation is actively trying to reach out to students through social meeting, having recently launched colouryourpassion.ca that includes twitter feeds, YouTube video and now a link to MacInsiders.
"This partnership will add to our ability to reach more of our students. The purpose of Athletics and Recreation at McMaster is to increase the student experience of all students at McMaster - even if you feel that you are not athletic, I'm sure we can find something in our building that will suit your needs", said Offer.
Over 70% of McMaster students use the athletics facilities at McMaster, making it one of the most diverse buildings on campus.
MacInsiders is also running a video widget stream on our homepage, macinsiders.com, to help keep you updated with athletics and sports games on campus. Be sure to check it each week for new videos and promos, tips, highlights, and news.
