There are numbers in a box at the back of your card. You also have to provide this information along with all the other information I stated in my last post.

Chipped cards are a pain in the ass.

Maybe you should call Titles customer service and see if they can help you out?

Yeah, that's really weird. I know a ton of people who use it as a normal credit card. But just to be safe, drop by Titles and explain to them the situation, or give them a call even. Maybe they'll let you pay by cheque or some other method , to save u the trouble.

What bank is the card through? I dont have a new one with a chip, but my dad does, and he hasn't had any problems anywhere online. I'll have to jack his card and try it on Titles tonight and see.

there are some events that don't need a macpass to get into; however, alot of the events this year are only accessible through a macpass. I'd say get one, because you get alot of good swag stuff that you will use in your later years. I know its quite a penny to spend, but its all worth it. You only get to experience welcome week once (as a first year), why not invest in it, itll be worth it!

Hm...all this talk about the Mac Pass..but does anyone know what it even looks like?? Is it an actual card? maybe a sticker you put on your face?? Or maybe the invisible piece of paper that lets everyone enter events?

All i know is that you get some sort of wristband.

Just to clarify:

You will be able to pay in cash on September 5 and 6 for your MacPass. Debit will also be available.

I do not know the reason why the FYEO is only taking credit cards for the majority of sales of MacPasses, however, you can try to find information from them at [email protected]

I LOVE FYEO

Titles does accept cheques though (I worked the textbook rushes for a few semesters). So you should be able to buy your macpass at Titles and pay with a cheque (this goes for your books in the fall too, you can pay with a cheque!)

which is pretty sweet.

@xxsumz the MacPass is a bag full of the most ridiculously awesome swag possible for WW. The swag varies from year to year, but you can count on 2 tshirts (one from your residence / SOCS and one from your faculty). but the part that gets you into all the awesome events is a wristband (and you can bet it'll be one of those crazy ones that you have to cut off)

The MacPass being sold at Titles is only available from the computers in the MacMicro department. The computers are pretty much set up to order Macpasses like you would normally online. Currently, only your credit card can be used for payment.

I have no idea why they only have credit card, but as Casey mentioned, you can purchase your MacPass when you move in, so not to worry!

On a somewhat Macpass-related note, I just saw the shipment of residence Welcome Week t-shirts come in and let me say, they look awesome.

You can actually take the wristband off... it's just REALLY REALLY tough. It's attached via a button.
