Will I make it?? :(
I have applied for both computer science and business 1 here at Mcmaster, but i have yet to be accepted =(. My average if i went for computer science is a 78.66, and my average for business 1 is a 80.55. Any hope for me?

I don't know about Business but you have a shot for Computer Science. Not a great one, but I wouldn't consider it a lost cause yet.

First off, I hope you know that no one here is from Admissions @ Mac .
Also, like other people said regarding Business, I doubt it bro.
You have a slight chance for Comp Sci., like others have suggested stay back another year and do better.

Yeah seems really doubtful, but i have heard many of my peers getting in with a 81!, If anything would it be wise to go for social sciences, then switch over to commerce second year? Is that even possible? I really want to avoid staying back another year :(

You can switch over from Social Sci to Commerce as long as you complete a few courses but it is fairly competitive so you'll need to have a decent GPA.

Get into Social Sciences @ McMaster and talk to your academic counselor and discuss it with her, it is possible as far as I know. Best of luck bro! =]

Anything is possible, but you're going to need a killer average your first year to obtain a transfer.
