1) MATH 2K03-Financial Mathematics - seems practical
and MATH 2RO3 Linear Algebra II to serve as a prereq for 3CY3
MATH 3CY3-Cryptography..one word ..cool. only problem it isnt offered every year. Would it be an every other year thing?
2) math 2k03 AND MATH 4KO3
and stats 2d03 as a prereq for 4k03.
Any suggestions?

I took Math 2K03. It is useful I guess if you are interested in finance (like me). However, for some reason I just found lectures to be kind of boring and I would not really pay attention. Tutorials were kind of useful, as the TA did like a quick summary of what was learned the past week. The exam was open book, which saved my life.
Math 2R03 is a good course, and it is a prerequisite for quite a few upper year math courses (if not almost all of them). It's just a continuation of the material learned in 1B03.
I really want to take Cryptography too, but it's not offered this year and am not sure if it will even be offered next year. Though I think number theory 3H03 teaches some sort of cryptography, since the subjects are related.
I hated stats 2D03. But I hate stats in general.
