move out parking
http://housing.mcmaster.ca/Residence...pril2012. php

My exam is at 7pm, and I will move out around 10pm. My parents are coming here around 5pm. the problems is I read the residence eNewsletter, the information confuses me.
how come it says April 20th – April 26th (12-7pm). does it mean my parents can't park after 7pm?and another question is, can my parents park for more than one hour? from 5 to 10pm? or we have to pay for parking? (because it says one hour of free parking on the link) I don't know how university parking works :(

on res i assume. usually if u camp in a car it should be fine and if a parking officer comes around then i guess u pay? I think that's like the official hours of moveout but u should be able to move out at 10pm too..

The dates and times are when move out assistants are working to help direct the flow of traffic and make it easier for people moving out. You get one hour of free parking regardless of whether the assistants are there. This is to encourage people to move out quickly and vacate their parking spot to minimize congestion. If you need more time, you'll have to pay.
