MSU jobs
Just wondering.
Are we allowed to have more than one MSU job (paid)? Or are we only allowed one per academic year?
THANKS!!

I think you have to pay a certain fee to get access to their job postings. D:

Have you checked OSCAR and OSCARplus yet?

According to Matt's link above, section 4.3 says:
No employee shall hold more than one paid position within the MSU concurrently

While we respect your enthusiasm, it's probably best if you refrain from posting and trying to give advice if you're not sure what you're talking about.
1. Job postings were found on OSCAR (not MUGSI), but now most are on OSCARplus. As shown above, the MSU also posts job openings on its own website.
2. The only time you'll need to pay a fee to access job postings is if you're in Engineering co-op. Even then, it's not really a fee to see job postings, it's a fee you pay to the co-op office for their services (though you weren't far from the truth here; the co-op office doesn't do much for students other than let them look at available co-op job postings).

Fair enough but one does learn from their mistakes.

You're definitely right. TAs work for the departments they teach for, so are university employees. An MSU job would be at one of our services or business such as TwelvEighty, the Union Market, the Silhouette, Diversity Services, Compass, etc. etc.
A full list is conveniently located here: https://www.msumcmaster.ca/services/...llServices.htm
