+1 for Walking Dead and Torchwood.
I'm rather surprised no one's mentioned Torchwood til now actually. Also nip/tuck (by the same creator as Glee) if you don't mind slightly gory TV. The final season of that kind of sucked though, not gonna lie -_-

If you like FNL, Parenthood is done by the same writers (and has 1 or two of the same actors) and is just as good as FNL

I may get disapprovals for this..I know most ABC family shows suck but Pretty Little Liars is really really good and so is State of Georgia. SoG is a new show and it has disney's That's So Raven in it if you liked that

Spartacus and its prequel
Wilfred is a great american remake of its aussie counterpart
Justified- probably one of the best dramas out now
Breaking Bad- RUN!
Archer- Funniest animation on TV currently.
The Wire- Classic. Best show hands down.
True Blood - fun, killing and boobies.
Deadwood - ****ing badass goldrush era tv show
its always sunny - great "seinfield on crack" comedy
30 rock - tina fey is a genius
parks and rec - another SNL laced comedy
Sons of Anarchy - Great 1st and 2nd, 3rd was a bit contested for many viewers
Mad Men - 50s era drama
White Collar - USA network drama, a personal favourite
Burn Notice - Another USA network spy drama, hgihly enjoyed
Louie- Louis CK is hilarious, and the 2nd season gets pretty dark but its funny
Rome - Great HBO 2 season biopic?
