NHL 10-11 Season
Thread for hockey fans, hockey amateurs and even professionals. Talk about hockey here
I know it's kinda late but who cares since hockey is one of the best sports.
All stars game is today, betting on team Lidstrom.
So what's your fav team in NHL and what's your prediction (AllStar, playoffs...)

Team lidstrom should win, cant go wrong with stamkos/st louis, and obviously himself on the blue line. But then again theres usually no D being played until last 5 mins or so...11-9 lidstrom wins.
Found it funny they gave honda to a guy that makes $5.5M per year.

lmao, i felt so bad for kessel, but he said hes going to drive it.
as a leaf fan, i felt embarrassed that he got picked last!
team lidstrom wins 14-11.
playoffs: tampa and van city in final, cup goes to tampa!

Team Lidstrom!
I can't believe Crosby's out. :( It's been what, 10 games? It's really sad, I hope he gets healthy. They say his concussion started during the winter classic. They had such bad playing conditions that day. Concussions can have really bad repercussions (pun not intended) later in life. The game's not the same without him.
EDIT: I'm glad Fleury made it on the team. 
I just found out that I won't be able to watch it because I'm having family over at 4:00! Noooooooo.....

Really put some originality into that prediction, picking the top team from each conference right now. 
My finals prediction: Boston vs. Detroit... or Vancouver, I can't really pick between the two but I feel the East will definitely be Boston. Philadelphia and Tampa don't have the goaltending to go the long haul. Philly's riding a rookie for chrissakes. |

No the Habs are gonna do great in playoffs. They might get in Finals of Eastern conference. If they don't, then I hope it's going to be a Tampa Bay vs Detroit or Vancouver.
Vancouver might screw in the playoffs like it did last year.

How can you possibly choose Montreal over Toronto? I mean, I'm a fan of Pittsburgh but I still watch all of the Leaf games (well, most). I'm... SHOCKED.

You know Detroit has a rookie goalie too, right?
As much as I hate Philly, I'm gonna have to say they're gonna take the east again. Rookie goalie or not, they're too solid of a team to not take it. And who cares if they a rookie in net? Young goalies win all the time. Niemi was a rookie last year, and won a cup for Chicago. Dryden, Roy and Ward were rookies when they won the cup for their teams. Brodeur was in his second year when he won, etc etc.
