NSLSC Mail Question
Hey, so I'm in second year currently, and using OSAP as well. Today I just got a mail from the National Student Loans Service Center outlining that it is time for to start repaying my student loan (whatever it was from first year), and wrote down the deadline for the first payment required.

I'm confused as I thought you start paying back your OSAP loan 6 months after you graduate, so I'm not sure if this is a mistake or am I missing something? Any clarification would be appreciated, thanks!

That is definitely a mistake. Give them a call or stop by the Student Awards and Financial Aid office to fix it.

Unless you pick up OSAP in September each year, the NSLSC does not you are enrolled as a full time student. If you have decided that you do not need OSAP or if you applied late (after July 15th) students should complete a Continuation of Interest Free Status Form. Please find the link below. Students who are in a degree program and studying at a full time level with no previous OSAP restrictions can receive interest free status.
