I was just wondering if anyone already receive the email or the money already? cause I have gotten neither and Im really starting to get worried.... thanks for your input

ugh, whenever I see a new post in this thread, I think that someone posted to tell everyone that the Grant has been RELEASED! lol Get sooo excited, and then back to normal again........

the grant is BS is you ask me.... just like the rest of the system.... my mom made 2,000$ more than last year and my OSAP got cut by almost 2,000$ from the previous year because her income bracket changed from low to mid
mind you, I'm also "ineligible" for the ontario tuition grant because I'm in my 2nd year of study and receive close to 2,500$ for the ontario access grant as part of my 2,000$ less funding from last year...
BS I tell you.

We're getting more free money. Life isn't fair. The government's trying.
What do we do? Whine about unfairness and how different programs have different tuition rates.
How about sucking it up and being grateful?
Some people pay more than others because they're expected to graduate and get a job with a higher income. Compare the starting income between English and Engineering majors. Yeah.

Just checked MUGSI and it says that I have " THE MCMASTER UNIVERSITY BURSARIES" for $800. I'm excited either way, but does anyone know if this is a bursary from the universary, or if its the tuition grant?

That's just the bursary Mac is giving you. Completely separate from the Ontario Tuition Grant

It's a bursary from the university, I got $1000 for that and I'm not eligible for the grant thanks to the Ontario Access Grant >.>

oh ... just checked my easyweb and the grant was deposited ... grant and bursary all in one day.. feels like christmas all over again
