If you're talking about the 2OB3 Midterm 1 Multiple Choice, I agree it was tougher than it looked.
Overall I think that Organic Chemistry has a bad reputation. I don't think it is any harder than General Chem, but it draws on a different skill set and covers material that is completely new (while in Chem 1A03/1AA3, students from some high schools have covered huge amounts of the material).
There also seems to be a "get it/don't get it" dichotomy with the course. While the overall midterm distribution was fairly flat, the MC and Written Answer sections individually showed bimodal distributions.
