OSAP and taking a year off
Does anybody know if it's possible to take a year off after graduation and not have to pay OSAP if I plan on definitely returning to school the next year?

You would have to fill out a form or something. You'll have to talk to SFAS about that.

You can only take a year off and not pay OSAP if you are not working... You will out a form to apply for "Interest Relief" the form consist of expected income from the 6+ months after period.... Ultimately the government is left up to the decision to approve you or not, but if you are not working, chances are you won't have to pay OSAP for 6 months and all accumulated interested is whiped out

I believe if you make over a certain amount you're required to make the minimum payments. Not too sure what they would consider making as "enough" but unless you can justify living expenses that are valid you are required to make payments, unless you have an income of 0

I'm pretty sure you can't. Anyone can say they are coming back to school, but there's no way for OSAP to make sure you do.

You can email [email protected], but I think it'll be a no.
