OSAP Dilemma
Hey guys,
I might get into 2nd year if I can clear my summer school. Iam am in engineering.
I was wondering when would be the perfect time to apply for OSAP because of my strange situation..I think the last date to apply for OSAP is on the 26th of June
Any suggestions?

Apply Now...
Apply as soon as possible even if you are not sure you will get into 2nd year.
If you don't get into 2nd year OSAP will not give you the money because it wont receive the confirmation of enrolment from the registrar's office. So there's nothing wrong in applying right now.

Apply anyways. If anything you will get an over imbursement and it will cancel or your application will be flagged for whatever reason you have.

I'm pretty sure the last day to apply for OSAP is 90 days before the end of the school year.

"Students who want to use OSAP as a payment option towards tuition and/or recieve funding at the start of their study period should apply by July 15, 2012."

the deadline is july 15 actually.
but you should have everything sent beforehand because these applications take weeks to process.

That's only the deadline for OSAP to appear as a payment option on your payment agreement with McMaster. You can still apply for OSAP and get the money directly to your bank 90 days prior to the end of the session (which is around the end of January).
