You can mail it yes (that's what I do). But, it has to be IN THE OFFICE by the date specified. Give yourself a week grace period to be safe.

have you used internet banking before?

i have a feeling you are supposed to use McMaster University, Hamilton. as your name and location. however, I am not sure about this...

I would assume "location" would be McMaster's address which is 1280 Main Street West. However, I haven't used the internet banking option before... I always hand in a cheque, and I don't believe any of the other MacInsiders staff know the answer to this so I would advise you to call up Student Accounts and Cashiers to get proper help and assistance.

Their contact info:

Gilmour Hall, Room 120
Hamilton, Ontario L8S 4L8

Fax: (905) 521-9565

Goodluck Mitesh! Be sure to let us know how it goes and what the solution was.

Faq
For all those with questions about the Payment Agreement and paying for your tuition, there is a great FAQ PDF you can view HERE.

It has some information on paying online for those who are trying to figure it out.

If you select payment in full then you have to pay the full amount shown in your total... it gives you a receipt/confirmation to print out with a total amount on it. Simply write a check for that amount, post date it to Sept 1st, and drop it off at the Registrar's Office in Gilmour Hall by Aug 15

Sorry if it's been asked before but.... you know how it says that SOLAR will be reopened after a timetable has been assigned on different dates depending on when you did your payment agreement? If you did it really early but say... you went to it again after you received a scholarship and included that as an option to reduce your fee + confirmed your agreement again. Does it count as completing the payment agreement on the day you updated + confirmed or the first time you confirmed.
Oh and if it says "Fee Status: Cleared" and "Fully Registered" Yes"... does that mean your payment agreement went through and you WILL be attending mcmaster 100% (getting the final confirmation letter/package in mid august?)

Thanks

@Nuttynatz:
The registrar posted about that question, and I've quoted them here:
http://www.macinsiders.com/showpost....& postcount=4
(see green). I recommend you phone them to confirm and check, since it is very important that you pay the correct amount by Aug 15th, otherwise you are charged a fee.

@eliwilliam:
You are allowed to alter your payment agreement up to and including September 10, 2007. As long as you have accepted it at least once, you're good. See FAQ here: http://www.mcmaster.ca/bms/student/pdf/SAC_FAQ.pdf

As for your second question, if you have followed all the steps outlined by the Office Of The Registrar (http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /getreg200709/) then you're 100% good to go. Go through the list and see if you've completed all the steps. After seeing you're 'cleared' and 'fully registered', it looks like you've done everything correctly, but go through the list to double check.

Once again, if you are unsure about anything be sure to phone the Registrar if you need help or have questions. Their contact info is in this thread.
