I have a question about paying. I am doing the online banking. I don't quite understand how mcmaster is going to know where my money is coming from. In my bank account i set it up to be like a bill so my student number is the title and it is being paid to mcmaster. I also don't understand if we pay on the 15 of august or if the money has to be in the account for the 15th and then it is taken out on september 1?
Thanks so much

Note: To correct a post that Danielle made about the Payment Agreement. You can make changes to your Payment Agreement as much as you want once you accept it and can go back in if things change (like to QEII awards, scholarships, etc) up to Sept 10th.
So if you accepted it weeks ago but just realized that you have an entrance scholarship appearing in the payment agreement, then go ahead and make changes to apply the scholarship and then re-confirm the agreement. As long as you've accepted it at least once, you're good to go
Thanks

Information on textbooks and the costs is going to be up tomorrow on the Titles web page. I've heard that it's better to wait to buy the books since professors might decide to change the book requirements or they might decide you don't need the books. I've heard to wait til first week of classes is at least started.

There are many threads in the forum about textbooks. Use the search box in the top right corner of the site and search for 'textbooks'. You'll find a lot. Try and keep this thread to "Payment Agreement" discussion or feel free to start a new thread on textbook costs.

And yes, Alyssa is right, costs will be on the Titles website http://titles.mcmaster.ca

		 - You have to select OSAP as a funding option under your Payment Agreement in SOLAR.
- First installment is due August 15th (it can be post-dated to september 1st)
- The amount you owe is also under your Payment Agreement in SOLAR
- If you're doing online banking, just search for 'McMater University; Hamilton, ON' as a payee and put your 7-digit student number (07xxxxx) as the account number.

 Yes
I'm not sure about the late fees. It's my understanding that the school has to receive the amount by August 15th, meaning even if you commenced the transaction with your bank before the 15th, but McMaster receives the amount after that date, you may get a penalty (but don't quote me on that).
I think installments are half/half, but the amounts may differ based on OSAP estimates and entrance scholarships.

I have a question regarding the MPP.
I have selected MPP and they said that
they would send me a contract.
However, i never got one.
and it is due tomorrow. What should I do?
I saw that Mac has a copy of the contract on their page...
should I print that and send it to them?

and btw I wish to pay my tuition by cash,
but in the MPP contract I can not find cash as payable option.

help plz!

There is an OSAP option on the Payment Agreement when you're selecting the payment sources (ex: payment in full, scholarships, etc).

this post-dated thing is confusing me...What is the purpose of it?
I picked payment in full...and under "payment schedule & messages" on the payment agreement it says "due date: august 15" "post dated: september 1st"
Does it HAVE to post dated to spetember 1st or can it just be dated to today :S
