Phyiscs 1BB3 or 1BA3?
Hey guys,
I've been thinking of dropping pysch 1XX3 and picking up another physics (the online lectures don't really do it for me).
My dilemma is that I don't know what to take... physics 1BB3 or 1BA3... (leaning towards 1BA3 because of the review by paul)
Or should I stick with pysch...
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks in advanced.

From my understanding, if you take 1BA3, prepare to do a lot of math and calculus. 1BB3 is geared towards students in the life sciences, but you essentially cover the same topics.

..or 1BA3 depending on the amount of math you want to be doing. I took 1BA3 last year with Dr. Chen and raised my 1B03 mark by 6 grade points. The math isn't too intense, you'll probably be ok if you've just taken 1A03 but math 1AA3 does help a little bit. Dr. Chen was AMAZZING, I had fantastic notes to study for the midterms and exams, which were different from 1BB3 in that our midterms only had 5 multiple choice questions and I think the exam only had 10. I highly recommend 1BA3 however I don't know how much the course will differ from 1BB3..

Thanks for the input.
Hopefully I'll make a decision soon.... hopefully it'll be the right one.
Did you take math 1AA3 while taking 1BA3?

yes i had both in second term. math 1aa3 is very overwhelming and scary unless you practice practice practice, but once you get everything (especially sequences and series) it's very rewarding. good luck!
