Wow, alright anyone who used GO to Mac today post feedback. I don't even know if it's worth me coming tomorrow.
I have to take the GO bus from St. Catherines to Burlington GO Station, connect to the train to Aldershot, then connect to the Mac bus at Aldershot.
I have a test tomorrow at 1:30 too, and my normal GO bus arrives on campus at 1:15. I'm more concerned about my trip back. If i'm late getting to Aldershot or Burlington to get to my St. Cath bus i'll miss it and that bus doesn't run often, so i'd have to wait up to 2 hours for the next one.
I'm assuming GO isn't going to delay their regular trains and buses connecting with Mac buses because of the strike.

I imagine the buses coming to Mac aren't really that delayed either, just slightly more inconvenient. I really don't know how it went today, perhaps soonish people will be getting home and they might be able to post some feedback on how GO buses dealt with the rerouting today.

a lot of TA's dont even want to be on strike... this all CUPE's and McMaster's fault. TA's I've talked to want to help us students out which is why a lot of them are still coming to tutorials...

This morning, the GO bus dropped us off on Main St. at the new engineering building. It probably annoyed the cars behind the bus but it was ok otherwise, it just took a bit longer to get to class but it wasn't a big deal. Coming home, the bus picked us up on the other side of Main St., right beside where the funeral home used to be. There was tons of people there but the bus came on time and everything worked out pretty well I think....it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. But maybe thats because this was at 1:45 and its not too busy at that time.

I took the long way to the bus stop and went past Sterling Street this afternoon.
A total of 12 picketers. Wow! Is this seriously worth closing tutorials and labs for?? What a waste..
If only 12 of your 2,700 members are picketing, MAYBE IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

Yeah there's the same amount right now, and about 10 more going up to cars and standing along the entrance. I just smiled and laughed audibly when they looked at me, pointing. It felt awesome.
They hold captive about 5 cars at a time, i swear, i would lay on my horn the whole time.
There's also police directing traffic there

Apparently someone ran through a barricade near cootes the barricade hit a CUPE protester and the CUPE protester had to be taken to the hospital. Then the Student tried to run past the police barrier; had to be stopped at gunpoint by Hamilton police and then dragged from his Car by gunpoint :S
