Is it possible to take classes in the summer if you aren't enrolled yet?
My little sister wants to start taking courses this summer when she graduates high school. Since she won't be enrolled until September will she not be able to do this?

You're not considered a university student until the September that you start.

What program is she in? To my knowledge only eng has it called LEAP
