If Torres is to leave, I'm pretty sure it's going to be in the summer. But Liverpool's trying to keep him by geting Luis Suarez, which would be a great signing.

Crazy how he's being valued around 18-25 mil. If Darren Bent was signed for 18 mil (up to 24 pending performances) from Aston Villa, Suarez should be way more than that.

And they should think about revamping that back-four of theirs. And sell that goddamn Lucas Leiva.

I agree with most of what you said. Lucas has improved immensely though. He's been one of the more consistent players on Liverpool this season, and the Lucas-Raul partnership is working out well. Not yet close to what Xabi and Mascherano had going though. Still, he was missed in today's game against Fulham. On a side note, I hear LFC's interested in Charlie Adam from Blackpool - he's been solid for them. Anyone else have a soft spot for Holloway and the Tangerines?

Regarding the back four, I think Skrtel should be sold. Kelly at RB seems to be stepping up to the plate and will only get better considering he's only 20.

LIVERPOOL'S IN 7th!!! ohhh yeaaaa! lol

Ian Hollaway has already turned down offers to Adams. He will do a very big mistake if lets him go. He is definitely a key stone for Blackpool.

Apparently Ferguson and Wenger have been tossing bids at this young talent, Alex Chamberlain. He is 17 years old and the papers said Ferguson made a 10million pound bid for him. Could he be the player who leads England to lift the World Cup ?

he's 17 years old, playing mostly in the reserves in league 1, he's not diego maradona, and overwhelming odds suggest he never will be

Time will tell. I am not implying he will be I am just saying he looks like a good player. Manchester are usually really good at picking out young good players and turning them into stars.

Ryan Giggs
Paul Scholes
David Beckham
Christiano Ronaldo
Wayne Rooney
Javier Hernandez (Chicharito)
Rafael Da Silva
Kiko Macheda

Do not get me wrong here. I am not trying to put the last few names on the above list on the same level as the first few names. I am just saying they have a lot of potential for their age and they were all picked up by scouts or brought up from the academy.

Liverpool closing in on Suarez. And this signing can be potentially less than Darren Bent, which makes it a great deal.

The fee's been accepted! The savage is coming to Liverpool!
On a sadder note (for me at least), Torres handed in his transfer request, which has been rejected. However, I'm sure he must have lost a lot of support with that move. I honestly can't imagine him playing for any other team in the PL :( Argh!
