What?! What were the bricks used for?

hahaha that's too funny about the bricks

as for how much stuff is too much, it totally depends on you. keep in mind that the rooms aren't huge (and if you have a roommate, be mindful of they're space). the amount of stuff you move in will also depend on the type of room you're in (apt/ suite/ traditional). I lived in Bates, and since I had been preparing to move out, I brought all the dishes / glasses / pots and pans / cutlery / toaster etc which made me have a lot more stuff than others.

I'm not the person to ask about packing - I pack WAYYYY too much, all the time. Home isn't that far for me either (about an hour), so it was really easy for me to bring stuff home / grab different stuff if I needed it. yes, I am that person that will bring at least 3 different outfits if I'm only going on an overnight trip. Packing fail? yes.

Haha, wow. That bricks thing must've been brutal, yet funny . Contrary to what everyone else is saying about overpacking, I don't know I think I'm UNDERpacking XD, but then again, like jmbauman said, home isn't too far away, so I'd rather get them later than get everything on move-in day >.<

Yeah Sara, this year I definitely underpacked for sure. I'll probably go home after I unpack since I don't have my permanent room yet so that I know what to bring here. If you live nearby don't stress.

What happens if we are bringing a mini fridge and a printer? My parents suggested packing stuff in the fridge since we are just bringing our car, but is that a bit much for the reps? How many reps are there usually?

Thanks!

There are a lot of reps but i suggest you don't put anything in the fridge since its heavy enough as it is. You can however pack stuff in the fridge and before the reps have to carry the fridge away just take the stuff out and put it in a plastic bag or something.

You can have a tv in any type of rez if you can find a place to put it.

Is it out of the question to bring a musical instrument to rez? (I want to bring my electric guitar and amp to my double room in Woodstock Hall.....but is that just TOO much to bring?)

Not sure about Woodstock but I was in Bates and heard someone playing the drums almost every day. So I'm guessing it shouldn't be a problem.
