but yeah dont worry about classes yet...enjoy welcome week..i wanna see ALL the first years going bananas and having a blast..and science kids must set the bar..nuff said

Guys, a REALLY big piece of advice that everyone is overlooking:

There is the potential that there will be a CAW/CUPE strike, which means that there will be picket lines blocking entrances to campus. Legally, they can only hold you for 5 minutes at a picket line, but still, that's a bottleneck effect when there are 1500 kids trying to move into residence over 2 days.

Pack light. Pack essentials. You are not going to need many things on the first week because of the activity heavy-nature of it. You definitely do not need to bring your TVs, xbox, etc. Pack light so your parents/whoever can get in and out as quick as possible and the people behind you can do so as well.

And if someone in a royal blue jumpsuit comes up to you for Shinerama donations, donate!

Question about the fridge, is it okay to not have the fridge in a box and just bring it as is...
what about my fan, should I put that in a box or is it okay to just leave it
