problem with laptop
hey there, i have some problem with my laptop and i have no idea on how to solve it. Is there any free service offered by the university to at least take a look at my laptop? before i send it to some repair shop and splash out my cash. thanks!

free service? not to my knowlege...

you may be able to get macmicro (in titles) to look at it and give you an estimate for the cost of repairs, but i'm not sure if that would cost you anything.

you could call them/go in and ask, though.

and if your compooper is still under warranty, call the company you bought it from.

That's a Chad question...

I must admit, technology and me are not friends. Unfortunately because your compooper broke down at a real inopportune time, many people haven't been checking with the site as often as normal.

Hopefully you'll get a response (other than from me) soon!

Hi ayinaim,

Yes, UTS can look at your computer and repair it.

Take it to the UTS Support Desk located in T-13. It's the building near the hospital on the far side of campus behind the Psychology building. Just walk in the main doors and turn right, then go straight ahead and you can talk with a receptionist who will direct your issue to a technician that can help you.

Or, if you want, feel free to post your problem here and we can try and help!
