Program Transfer
Hi does anyone know the likely hood of transferring from Social science, first year bsA to a bachelor of science for second year, such as the one in Life science? I fall just below the cut off for Life science at mac, fall 2013, and I've been advised to apply for social science for my first year, however at the end of the day ill be going down the path of receiving a bachelor of arts. In second year, I can try, but it's not guaranteed, to apply for a transfer into getting a bachelor of science

I apologize for the confusion this question may bring! I just called student registrar and this is what I was told, and I just wanted some opinions from those who have tried to do such a transfer or know of someone who has and what their outcome had been?

You can try to take courses in first year Soc Sci so that you are following the requirements needed to enter the second year Science program of your choice.

You can "shadow" Life Sci I.

I have a friend that did exactly what you want to do and had no problems transferring into Honours Life Science from Social Science after taking the required courses as Life Science is not a limited enrollment program. P.S: Is this Barbash, aha?
