I was choosing my classes on the course calendar and timetable when I came across Psych 1X03.
Most of the other classes I am taking gave me the choice of 1, 2 or sometimes 3 Core options. On the website, it shows 99 Core options for Psych 1X03 - all only one hour long and 1 day a week. (No tutorials)

Can somebody please explain how this works? Do I choose more than one?

lol the 99 cores shows you why Psych 1X03 is basically the biggest course at Mac.

You only choose one and yeah it's an hour one day a week, but it isn't actually your core, but technically a tutorial (no one calls them cores).

Your lectures for the course consist of online lectures (premade/prerecorded, videos supplemented with visuals/graphics/animations plus scenes of Dr. Kim himself talking to you )

so yeah for X03, the lectures are basically online and your tutorial/core time is your chance to like discuss the material with other students taking the course with you

I should probably also mention that XX3 (the second psych, I'm sure you know by now) actually has live lectures so if online lecturing scares you you dont have to worry about that for the second part.

THAT BEING SAID, I loved the online lectures
basically one or two modules come out each week, and you just do them at your own pace (well preferably before your tutorial each week, obviously) but you can choose any time during the day to watch them on your own and yeah

i also thought they were REALLY WELL MADE and inteesting, so you definitely have nothing to worry about. have funnnn

p.s. make sure you do those little quizzes (to check your knowledge) in between modules of the online psych lectures- as some of the questions will show up on your quizzes (for marks)!
