Question For All The Single People
How do you feel knowing that you're alone during the holidays, the most magical time of the year? Does it depress you seeing all the happy couples holding hands, and in love, while you're all alone in the bitter cold? Must suck.

I may be single, but I'm going on a cruise ship out of Florida with my parents. I'd rather spend the holidays alone with my parents in a tropical paradise than in the bitter cold with a girlfriend or boyfriend. |

How do i feel being single during the holidays?

Yeah...1) Saying 'Must suck.' is pretty douchey. It's not like you've been in a romantic relationship your whole life.
2) Happy couples during the holidays? good for them. Why would I get depressed from that when I have lots of family to spend the holidays with. I'm not 'alone in the bitter cold.'
3) I would rather spend holidays with my family. Even if I had a SO, I would probably make them come to our family dinners and also go to theirs. Either way, FAMILY is more important. SO's come and go, but family is forever.

How does it suck when I can do whatever I want with MY time when I am on holiday? I don't have to give any explanation why I want to go out with friends on new years or have to run from family dinner to another. This way I only have to attend one family dinner and the rest of the time is mine.
