According to my phone bill, my friend's phone bill and my gf's phone bill:

When I call Toronto, or Toronto numbers, they are local calls.
When I call Hamilton, or Hamilton numbers, they are local calls.

When someone with a Hamilton number/in Hamilton calls me, it is a long-distance.
When someone with a Toronto number/in Toronto calls me, it is a local call.

When someone with an Oakville number calls me period, it is a local call.

It's a very strange thing, especially with the Hamilton calling me being long-distance.

I've had an Oakville 905 cell phone for 3 years now, and I have never gone over my minutes, even though I'm frequently on my phone. Basically for me, an Oakville number is awesome but it is a pain in the ass for people who are calling me from a rez phone, or a cellphone with no long-distance plan. (But I digress, I'm selfish.)

Are you saying it's long-d for you?

If you aren't, how are your incoming calls? Because if it's long-d to call you from hamilton then it should be long distance for you to pick up your cell when you are in hamilton.

Is it really long distance for the Hamilton caller to call me if I'm in Hamilton? and if I'm in Hamilton and call someone in Hamilton, it should be local right?
