SOLAR reopened last night to all students to add/drop courses if you coudln't grab them in the 7 days it was open to you earlier.

On AUG 10, it will open again with more options available (pick your own lab/tutorial if you are not satisfied with the schedule that was automatically made by mac). Good idea to have your own mock table made for that date, especially if you're first year and have more cores (i.e. get a spot in a 12:30 core instead of the 8:30 one which you'll inevitably fall asleep in).

Or get the 8:30 and give yourself a reason to wake up.

But why torture yourself if you can opt-out of it? I had a great semester when all my classes started at 12:30 (even though I had a evening course) and a terrible one when I had to stay at mac from 8:30 till 6:30 three times a week.

But this only really applies to first years since most upper year courses don't have multiple cores
