Wondering what we have for Edwards haha. Do you think we'd be allowed to do jumprope in the basement? I don't think it would make too much noise...but you never know!

Piano (I doubt they've tuned it though), billiards table (In our year some idiot broke the cue stick, don't know if it's been replaced), darts (I'm pretty sure that every year they don't provide the darts because of idiots), table tennis.

hedden has the ravine room in the basement which is basically just a huge room with some couches and chairs, chalkboards, piano and stuff, pretty useful if you wanna have a group meeting for a project or a study group or something. theres also a games room (which was closed for half the year last year ) that has a pool table and i think a foosball table and a shuffle board table lol, you had to get a key to use the room tho. also on every floor theres 2 common rooms which have kitchens, as well as couches and a tv (new flatscreen tvs were put in halfway through the year!)

Does anyone know if we can jump rope in the basement? I don't want to risk pissing everyone off, but I don't think it'd be THAT distracting haha.

I'm sure it'll be fine, maybe just ask those in the basement if you're worried it might be distracting to anyone studying there. Also, there's also the gym/track area which is accessible with your student card (without paying an extra membership or anything!)

Thanks for the clarification. Yeahh I could just head to the gym, but I was just trying to plan for nights where the weather is bad (snow,rain...nuclear debris?!), and heading out could pose a problem haha.

Haha, got it! Ooh there's also the common rooms and you can always go to another floor if one common room is full

I lived in Matthews first year and heard the piano every night. I guess it just depends on where your room is.

Also. Half the tv's in Matthews don't work. Go to the East Tower, if you wanna watch tv (I don't know if they've replaced them since last year).

I found it much easier to watch TV online as it was difficult to find some channels.

Also, there is a small section of Matthews around the study area in the basement that does have wifi with internet connection
