Hey umm..i posted yesterday and i was having like a major conflict with my timetable (i uploaded it..it should be just a few posts above this one). Anyways..i called McMaster and spoke with them and they opened up a seat for me for MAth 1LS3 in term 1 but thnks to my luck...the math course is now conflicting with my Inquiry and Biology course!!! -_-

Any suggestions on what I should do???

To solve the conflict, move the bio lab first term to L29-32 to move it a bit earlier and then switch Inquiry 1Sc3 to C05. That would let you fit the math in! There are multiple other scenarios to move those courses around to fit the math, but I think those are the best.

Yeah, I meant any lab between 29 and 32. There are also many other lab times it can be moved to as well as your inquiry course. Just check out the master timetable and figure out which are available.

Use SOLAR to figure out which are available.

I need some suggestions for my TIMETABLE please.
I've been changing my timetable since yesterday. I even slept at 4am this morning because SOLAR was faster. This is my 2ND TERM timetable. I just want to know if it's better to have PSY 1XX03 on Tuesdays (Core) and Wednesdays (Tutorial) at 9:30am-10:20am and then I'll move ANTHRO 1Z03 (Tutorial) to a later time but still on Wednesday. OR should I stick to this schedule because I have a night class on Monday. With this timetable I don't need to wake up early on Tuesdays however, I'll finish classes later. Can anyone enlighten me ?

Thanks in advance.

It all depends on whether you'd rather an earlier class or a later class. Everyone's different. I've had classes at all times, and I prefer earlier classes (8:30s) to later ones (4:30s). I like to be done earlier to have more time to hang out, do work, or just relax. However, some people would rather sleep in later and keep working with breaks in between for a longer day. I've found for myself that it doesn't matter if I wake up at 7:30 or 10:30, I'm always tired

EDIT: If you were wondering about moving your night class on Monday to a day class (I'm not too sure if you are), then there's something else to consider. Even though night classes are later, they could be considered better. They are 3 hours long, but only once a week. Many people like that fact. I've found that many night courses have long intermission breaks and rarely go to the whole 3 hour mark.

you have a pretty good schedule, if I were you and wanted to move anything it would be Sociology. That is the only class that does not fit in with the rest because of its time slot. It disrupts the rhythm you see to have with most classes being between 8:30 to 17-18:20

Hi Harsh...your first term looks really good. Everything is spread out and you end early practically all the days. I noticed, however, you just took one elective ECON 1B03..was that intended? or are you going to add another elective? Anyways, you might want to try to move econ to term 1..b/c ECON C01 actually fits your sched. at Tu We Fr 930-1030 ...this is better than takin econ at 530pm 2nd term.

Also, you have these green empty blocks, but no course name in them...is there supposed to be a class that time? There's really nothing, in my opinion, that you should really change. If you don't prefer early classes, you could try to move physics in your first term to a later time, if it's possible. Good luck!:emoticon:

Hey Harsh,

Have you checked my answer to your timetable yet in the other thread? Try not to post the same question more than once in different threads so that we won't get so confused about where to answer!

oops, I just noticed Harsh asked about ithis in another thread. I guess Mitch already suggested some great improvements.
