Ok Sidra are you ready for this craziness? Your timetable is really good, but I thought of some changes you might want to think of.

First Term:

Inquiry 1SC3 to C02
Bio 1M03 to C01
Bio 1M03 lab to 45,46,47 or 48.
Also have to switch Chem 1AA3 lab in term 2 to 41,42,51, or 52

This will switch the morning classes so you don't have an early Monday. You'll only have 1 class Friday instead of 2. And you'll only have 1 class on Wednesday in the afternoon.

Term2:

Math 1LS3 to C02
Bio 1A03 to C03
Chem 1AA3 to C03
Psych 1XX3 to C06 and T11
Envir Sci 1A03 lab to L02

This is all done basically to end your days earlier and get rid of the late math classes!

If some are not available, play around with it in a timetable document. There are other possibilities.

Hi Ali,

I have some suggestions for you first term:

ECON 1B03 to C02
Chem 1A03 to C01

I'd then suggest to move your bio lab up just a bit to 14:30

Then you can move your Psych 1X03 course to one of the many many times available that will fit other than on Tuesday. Now you have Tuesday off!

Also, move your chem lab to 14:30 on either Monday or Thursday so that you will only have 1 class early on Friday.

Now for your second term.........it's really busy and every day goes really late. I would suggest moving the chem lab down from Monday morning. I'm not sure if you want the courses to last until 6 and 8 pm. I would suggest moving those courses earlier. Try it out and get back to me, because it's too difficult to move every one of those courses right now.

I already made a topic for this, but I didn't see this thread before I did. =X

Well I'll be commuting from Oakville to McMaster everyday by train/bus and I'm taking 1st year Engineering. I was wondering if I could get some tips on my current timetable.

Term 1: http://i35.tinypic.com/dp780y.png
Term 2: http://i33.tinypic.com/8w9uf6.png

I also have a Econ class (1BB3) that's in a "selection conflict" right now.

Thanx in advance for the help.

hanks for the advice mitch. sadly i can't take any of it lol.. chem core 1 is full.. and econ, i wanted the three hour lecture versus the three 1 hour lectures. only thing i did do was move my second term psych to an earlier time, on a monday, so it balances my schedule fairly. thanks a lot for the help though (and how quick it was!!).

Lampk,

Your terms are set up very good already. *Yay Kin!* Here's some suggestions.

For first term:

Switch Kin 1Y03 tutorial to T07, 08 or 09

Switch Physics 1B03 to C01

This will let you finish earlier and move the late physics to 9:30 classes.

I would then suggest to move your bio lab from Monday to 14:30 on a different day, just because Monday's are no fun. You also have the choice to move your chem lab from Friday to 14:30 on any other day. I highly suggest the latter as that would mean you get off Friday at 10:20!

For your second term, woah! So many labs! It's set up perfectly though, I have no better suggestions there!

Khaotic,

This one took me a while. I missed so much of the female gymnastics! Anyway, here's my suggestions.

Term 1:

Chem 1E03 to C02
Engineer 1C03 tutorial to tuesday morning
Engineer 1P03 to C04
You can also move your 2 morning labs to Tuesday and Wednesday at 14:30 if you'd rather do them then.

This allows you to end much earlier on all days (except if you change the labs of course)

Term 2:

Oh goodness. Ok where do I start? Math 1ZZ5 is a party pooper! Every possible time for Math 1ZZ5 conflicts with Econ 1BB3! Ugh. What a crazy course. Anyway, I've found a solution, tell me what you think.

To solve the conflict, the only way is to move the Econ 1BB3 to the evening class, which will end at 10:00 pm on Wednesday. I know you're commuting, so I don't know if you'd want to do that. If you absolutely can't, you will have to move Econ 1BB3 to first term and either bring some other course to your second term, or take more courses in first term than second term.

To improve your second term:
MATLS to C03
Engineer 1D04 lab to T11 or T12
Enginner 1D04 tutorial to Tuesday, Thursday or Friday morning
Math 1ZZ5 to C02
And I would suggest moving your physics lab to Tuesday at 14:30.

This will allow you to finish earlier on all days and not have classes after you last labs. You'll also finish much earlier on Friday.

khaotic says thanks to mitch for this post.

Scrub, I can't really see the schedules, they're too small. From what I can see, they look good. Nothing bad about them, just try to move your later class up if you can especially late friday classes in term 2.

Hey Harriet!

Your schedule looks great! The great thing about science courses is that they are all pretty much pre-planned out, so there are not many conflicts are too many courses in a row. I thought of one tiny thing you could do if it suits you. You could move your chem lab first term to Monday afternoon, and then switch your physics lab earlier on Tuesday. You wake up later and get off earlier on Tuesday, but you finish later on Monday. It all depends if you'd rather work later or wake up earlier. I've never been a fan of 8:30 labs, but everyone's different. Here's you're attached timetable with my revisions. By the way, thanks for using my timetable document! It makes things so much easier to look at and for me to make changes!

Timetable!!
Hi guys , I'm soroush & I'm going into Eng-Level1 . I was wondering if you can take a look at my timetable. I'll probably remove Music1AA3 and If I can't find a better elective, I wont add any course. Thanks a lot

I can't seem to find a proper solution to the economics conflict. I heard from somewhere that I didn't need to take my 2 electives during first year. Is that true? If it is then it would help out a lot.
