Hey Sugi,

I looked at the two course times for Theatre and Film 1B03. Eng is right that you would need to switch your core class for Theatre and Film and then switch your core physics class in order to switch your late Theatre and Film lab. However, When I compared the two class times for Theatre and Film, I find that the one you have already is better. Even though the lab is late on Tuesday, your classes are still earlier. If you were to switch it to the other one, Both your classes would be at 3:30 and then your lab would be right after your class on Tuesday until 7 pm. With the one you have now, you have a long break to eat dinner until your lab from 7-10. It's your choice, whatever you prefer.

Having problems
Hi,
I tried to change Theatre film to CO2 and then I chose LO2 and then it had a conflict with physics 1E03 and I changed the core of that course and kept giving me more conflicts. Sorry to keep asking but I am so bad at this. Any suggestion of what to change so there wouldn't be any conflicts.

Thank you guys

Sugi,

Use this timetable template, and put all of your times in their respective places. http://www.macinsiders.com/showthread.php?t=1902 5

Then go on the Master Timetable here: https://adweb.cis.mcmaster.ca /mtt/

When you choose a different time, move the courses to that time in the template. Keep moving classes until none are overlapping. When you moved your physics course it overlapped with something else. Figure out the best schedule for yourself. I still think that you should keep it the way it is, but you may want to change it around.

Good luck

Hi Sugi I've figured out a way to make your timetable work. You might have to see if the sections are still open, but this is the simplest way I found.

-switch to PHYSICS 1E03 C01
- then you can change to THTR&FILM 1B03 C02 and L02
** the tutorials you can choose from for film are: T11,T12,T14
- switch to ENG 1D04 C03
- then you can change your ENG 1P03 tutorial to either T15 or T16

Hope that helps. I attached how your timetable will look like with the changes. I only decided to put THTR&&FILM 1B03 T11/T12 on your timetable, but T14 should work also.

Hi Lana. I checked out your courses on the timetable and most of your kin courses have only only one section, so you can't really change them very much. You could try to change you KIN 1A03 tutorial to T11/T12 (1130-1230) - gives you an extra hour of sleep. OR you could move it to another day asides from friday - soo you get even more sleep since your classes won't start till 230pm on fridays. Your sched is good because you roughly have the same amount of classes everyday...pretty balanced.

For term2 you can change BIO 1A03 C04 to C03 if you don't prefer 830 classes. You would have to end later on fridays tho. Again, you geography class only has one core section. You could fiddle around with the Geog lab, if you'd like, but there's really nothing wrong with where it is now.

Good luck!

Hey Lana,

Yay Kin!!!

Here are my suggestions which are similar to Eng's:

First Term:

Switch Health studies 1A03 tutorial to T04 to have a bit more time on Friday.
Switch you Kin 1A03 lab to L07 or L08. I would highly suggest this because you don't want to do a course right before and after this lab.

Second Term:

Switch your Bio lab to Tuesday 14:30 or Kin 1AA3 lab to Tuesday 11:30. Moving one of these will make the day less crowded because you don't want to do the kin lab and then the bio lab right after.

I would suggest not moving your bio core classes away from 8:30. It's not that difficult and getting off earlier I find is much better, especially on Fridays.

Thanks very much for your help you two!

I managed to switch my bio lab to tuesday and my kin 1A03 lab to L08.

I couldn't however get into the health studies T04 and Kin1A03 tutorials are only available on friday's unfortunately, which is weird, so i couldnt make any changes there.

I'll keep trying to switch the health studies tutorial though. Thanks again for your help, it's really appreciated!

Hey Olga!

Here's some suggestions:

First Term:

Switch Chem 1A03 to C04
Switch Chem 1A03 lab and Bio 1M03 labs to Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday at 14:30.

This will lessen your workload on Wednesday and spread your days apart more evenly.

Second term:

Switch either your Bio 1A03 lab or evironmental science 1B03 lab to Wednesday at 14:30. Switching your bio lab will make Monday less crowded, but switching the envir sci lab will allow you to end earlier on Tuesday. Your choice.

Hey Sugi,

You can switch Physics 1E03 to C01 and then switch Engineer 1D04 to C03 and then Switch Engineer 1P03 tutorial to Wednesday or Tuesday afternoon.

Hope that works out for you

P.S. If one of those are full and blocking you from fixing your timetable, call up the program office of that course and let them know that you need to get in that course to not have a conflict. It's worth a try.

Hey Sugi,

Just move your Engineer 1D04 tutorial to T15 or T16. That would solve the conflict in the new schedule you posted.

Cheers

Hey guys, I need some help with my timetable. I have this conflict that I need to solve and I haven't been able to do it myself. Is it possible to also remove some of those gaps from term 1? If not all I really need help is with the conflict in term 2. Thanks in advanced.
