Mac should have a drop-in timetable adjustment thing or at least not allow for so many conflicts to make our lives slightly easier. I have a conflict that is impossible to change so I'm just waiting for people to drop first year French 1k06. Honestly though, when I was a first year I almost died when I had a conflict

I need some major help right now...

I resolved my 1BB3(econ) conflict, but at the risk of making my first term packed. I was wondering if anyone could help me make term 1 a little... Easier =\. I would be easy to move 1B03 to term 2 if only some of the labs/cores/tutorials were not full. Any suggestions would be very helpful!

Khaotic,

Keep trying SOLAR to see if any of the times for Econ 1B03 become available. For the meantime though, I have some suggestions I think would make your timetable look much less crazy.

ECON 1BB3 to C02
CHEM 1E03 to C02
*Engineer 1C03 lab to L06 or L08
Engineer 1C03 tutorial to T09
*Physics 1D03 lab to L09, 10, 11, 12 ,13, 14 ,15 or 16

*Note: If you choose engineer lab to L06, you need to choose physics lab to L13-16 or vice versa.

Instead of having labs and then classes and then labs all in a row, this organizes your schedule. You'll have 3-4 classes and then a break before an afternoon lab. That is much more manageable.

Soroush122,

I have a couple of suggestions for you.

First term:

Switch Engineer 1P03 to C04
Switch Chem 1e03 lab to 47,48,57,58

This will get rid of the two labs in a row which is really hectic, and it will get you off earlier on thursday.

Your second term looks fine and I can't think of anything to suggest there.

Review My Schedule/Timetable - Post here
Hi,
I am going into First year Engineering. I chose both economics courses but it wouldn't fit in so I took theatre and film. Is theatre and film a easy course? and Is there a possibility of pushing my economics course up a little because I am planning on commuting. It's really great that there's people here to help. I really appreciate it.
Thank you

Engineering 1
Hey Mitch,

I am going into Engineering 1. Can you please view my timetables for the two terms and suggest any inprovements? Oh ya btw, I changed the ENG 1P03 core 1 from thursday to wednesday 12:30 to 13:20 for both terms as its a course for the whole year... so just for your info, the change isnt present on these two timetables... was that a good move? and also, i dont think I am taking history next term(term 2) so I am prolly gonna remove it if I cant find a better elective!

Thanks a lot for your time,

Maclover

Vic.And,

Here's some suggestions for your timetable,

First term:
Switch physics 1D03 to C01
Switch your Chem 1E03 lab and Physics 1D03 lab to Tuesday and Thursday at 14:30 (your choice for which lab goes on which day)

This gets rid of your early Friday lab and allows you to finish earlier on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Second Term:

Switch Physics 1E03 to C01
Switch Math 1ZZ5 to C01
Switch Physics 1E03 lab to L05,06,07, or 08
Switch Engineer 1C03 tutorial to T11

This allows you to get off earlier, especially on Friday, and spreads apart some of your labs that were early in the morning.

Vic.And says thanks to mitch for this post.

Sugi,

I've never taken theatre and film, but I have heard it's an easy course. I'm sure other people on this wesbite can give their opinions of the course. Also, check out reviews on this site to see if it's been reviewed before. I have some suggestions to your timetable.

First term:

Switch Chem 1E03 to C02
Switch Econ 1B03 1E to Econ 1B03 1D C02 (So switch it to C02 in the day course)
Switch Engineer 1C03 lab to L06

This moves your late economics course to the middle of the day, and it moves your late Friday lab so you can get off earlier on that day.

Your second term looks fine so I can't think of anything for it.

Sugi says thanks to mitch for this post.

Hi Mitch,
Thank you for your help. I have tried to change everything the way you said but Econ 1B03 1D got full and Engineer lab L06 is also full but I will keep an eye. I would like to say thank you very much again. If there is any more useful hints. It would be appreciated

Hey maclover,

I definitely think that switch the engineer 1P03 core was a good idea! I would have suggested that. Here's my other suggestions.

First term:
Change your chem and/or engineering labs to Monday and/or Tuesday at 14:30.
You can switch your Enginner 1C03 tutorial to Tuesday or Monday at 8:30 to lessen the workload on Thursday.

Changing the chem lab would give you an earlier finish on Friday. If you did that, you should switch your engineering lab to Monday so that Tuesday won't be so much.

Term two:

Switch your physics 1E03 to C02
Switch your physics 1E03 lab to Wednesday at 14:30

This would allow you to end earlier on most days and make Thursday less jam packed.

Hey Sugi,

There are a couple of possibilities here to solve your conflict. One that comes to mind is to switch your Engineer 1P03 to C01 and then switch your Engineer 1D04 lab to L19 or L20. I'm assuming you don't have a class on Thursday at 17:30 in Term 2 because I can't see below16:30.

If that doesn't work, try moving the MATLS and then the MATH classes. That works as well.

Problem with timetable
Hey,
I chose Theatre and film 1b03 2D and it seems to be giving me a class I am not even sure what it is. It say's TSH. It's from 7-11. Is there a possiblity of fixing that and would help if I knew what TSH is.
Thank you,
your help is much appreciated !

Hey Sugi! By the looks of it you have been given film 1b03 L01 from 7pm-10pm...for you to change this you would have to change your core lecture to C02, which will allow you to be able to pick L02 from 430pm-7pm (an earlier time). OH and TSH is the room location - Togo Salmon Hall and your room will be in the basement of TSH.

oops, sorry I just realized you can't change to THTR&FILM 1B03 C02 UNLESS you switch your core PHYS 1E03.
