Screen, you so craze-ay.
The image on my laptop likes to jump around and kind of has a life of it's own. I got an estimate of what would cost to repair but I want to get another estimate to compare. Is there a place on campus that does computer repairs?

Titles can fix laptops, but they'll probably be more expensive. It's the Mac (Apple) station, but they fix PCs too.

NEVER EVER go to titles or MacMicro to fix your laptop. They charge all these stupid fees for servicing your laptop even to look at it they charge you.

What do you mean by 'jumps around'? Do you mean flickering? If so, it probably means an internal connector from the video processor to the screen has worn out or come loose.
If it's no longer under warranty, might as well open it and check yourself.

Please remove the battery if you're going to do this.

Sounds like it’s a graphics card problem / could be a driver issue. Search Google for the make/model of your graphics card and find the driver website and reinstall the driver
