One of the victims was a survivor of the Eaton Centre shooting last night... absolutely tragic and cant even begin to imagine the agony the families must be experiencing. James Holmes took 14 lives last night without hesitation. He made sure those 14 people would never see the light of day again, and will have forever scarred the many other witnesses and victims that survived the shooting. I hope that he gets the death penalty in America. No defence of "mental illness" should be able to justify such a inhumane, volatile act such as this. Burn in hell for what you have done. Condolences to the families

I Believe capital punishment is legal in Denver. Hope he gets exactly what he deserves.

Yea he clearly tried to murder a whole theatre full of people, massacre-style. Can you immagine him trying to plead no guilty in court? "uhm no thats not what meant to do, it was an accident.."

Even if he doesnt get the death penalty, his life is ruined, its over. Isnt he 20 years old? I hope you enjoyed your 20 years on this Earth because you have no more freedom left, idiot.

He's 24, and I hope he doesnt see many more days. Its cases like this that make me wish Canada had the Death Penalty. No amount of years in prison can balance the taking of 12 lives. (It has been confirmed 12 died) I will be disgusted by the greedy defence attorney willing to take on this sick ******* as their client.
