we started a week late this year so it works out. i would rather an extra week of summer where i can work than an extra couple days of sitting home at christmas.
i'm done exams on saturday night though, so i don't really care either way!

umm I'm sure other people have worse exam times but I had the 9th the 12th and then i have 16th 18th 19th. Unfortuantley prof gave an assignment worth 15 percent and another assignment plus lab notebook due the 7th and I have a job...don't want to be complaining but I'm just saying its not like there's that much time between exams.

Yeah, if you're really serious about studying for your exams, then you're not taking 'vacations' during the exam period... you're studying.

Yes and no. I have a week off between my last 2 exams. I'm serious about my exams, but do I need to study for 7 days for the last one? Not at all. I can afford to go do some stuff. So I'm going to Toronto on Saturday for a family dinner, and back to Toronto on Wednesday to see the King Tut exhibit at the AGO. I have the free time, so why not?

after going up to waterloo a couple of weeks ago, and seeing what they have to go through....im not complaining.

at least we get summers, kids at loo (at least most of them) have co-op during the summer time, plus a lot of their programs are five years instead of four.

I'd much rather have an extra week during Christmas and go back on the 11th than have a longer summer by one week. Summer is 4 months and long enough as it is, losing a week there you're not really going to notice. Thanks for ruining my Christmas, McMaster.

Sorry that there are friends and family I would like to enjoy the company of during the Christmas break, don't go calling names because you're some kind of loser with no friends.

lol. Simmer down. I have plenty of family and friends to visit over the holidays. Doesn't mean I'm going to claim McMaster "ruined my christmas" because I only have 12 days to do it. That just seems a little extreme, IMHO.

Lawl. It's just funny that everyone's so happy we have only 12 days for vacation. Normally people our age are dying for days off, hence why some people skip classes during the year, etc. Yup, really getting the money's worth there.
