I smoke weed.
Hey guys. My name is Daniel Ma, and Im in my 3rd year of engineering here at Mac. Im a pretty ordinary guy, but I have a terrible secret; Im a criminal. You see, I smoke weed.
I smoke weed because I honestly enjoy it. After a long day of class and hard work, I roll myself a joint, spark it, and watch a movie or play some video games before heading to bed. Sometimes, when I get the munchies real bad, I head to the kitchen and cook up a storm. Only most of the time is it amazingly delicious, but always do I clean the dishes.
I live in a house with 7 other guys. Their acceptance is pretty much split down the middle. Half of my roommates dont smoke weed, and the other half do. The latter sometimes participate in smoking with me, and we have a lot of fun together. None the less, I respect the choices of my other roommates, and I normally smoke outside. As I'm sure you're aware of, there are times when the harsh Canadian weather makes smoking outdoors excruciating, and I have on occasion smoked inside. When I do however, I try to plug up my vents with towels, and use a sploof to blow the smoke directly out my window.
Let me tell you about my dealer. He's a pretty down to earth guy. His parents were hippies and he had a very liberal upbringing. Hes a middle school teacher by day and an author in his free time. If I remember correctly, hes written three books, though only two of them have been published. He grows a few plants in his basement, and he doesnt associate with gangs or other bodies of organized crime.
I try to be the best person I can be and I treat those around me without prejudice, but with respect. This was not always the case, as a year or two ago, I was quite a vicious person. However, after much contemplation and philosophizing while high, I had decided to change my ways. Unfortunately, the world still sees me as a bad person.
I ask you this question with sincerity and I request that you respond likewise: MacInsiders, am I really a criminal?
