I think it should count as you being in Science since Kin shows up under science in the undergraduate calender.

Yes Shine, I dropped GERONTOL 1A03 when i picked up KIN 1Y03 near midnight yesterday. I checked 5-10 mins ago, both courses are now full. Keep checking, i've been trying since July 3rd to get KIN and i finally got it.

It depends on which you take I think, but I'm taking a philosophy elective in second year and everyone says it's alright, not necessarily a bird course but it's not a course from hell either.

It's actually because MUGSI opened for another group of student today. There's another group tomorrow as well.

It depends on a lot of things. Which Philosophy course, how good you are at essays, etc.

Philosophy 1E03 with Garret was really easy for me, but I loved my TA, was interested in the material, and am a good essay writer (a skill that unfortunately has very little use when pursuing a science degree).

But as long as you do the work you should be fine.

Oh shoot, true.
This is what the reply was from the Chem Department head:

"We do not actually offer Monday morning labs, so you will need to find a way to arrange your schedule to fit a lab at another time. I'm sorry, they need to be put into the schedule to keep the section numbers in order, but we use that time to switch over labs."

So I guess we all just have to work around making it conflict free :S, But I'm guessing they're gonna add more labs in to make up for the missing numbers?

Wow, that's horrible... they use that lab section to make it easier to switch? Plus they don't even tell you that in the beginning, awesome.

I love how all the labs are full and they are still people in the section used to switch labs.

What exactly does he mean by "switching over labs"
This is so confusing and stupid =F

Basically that section is used because if two lab sections are full and two people from those sections want to switch, they would use the section to switch over labs in order to switch between the two sections.

So for example:

Section 1 is the switching over section
Section 2 and 3 are full and people want to switch between

Person A switches from 2 to 1
Person B switches from 3 to 2
Person 1 switches from 1 to 3

Are you sure that's what it means Jeremy? The way I understood it last year was that they switch the lab materials to the new ones for the week. So like if lab one ends on the friday at 5:30 then they use the Monday morning lab time to switch all of the materials and prepare for lab 2. I may be wrong but that is what my T.A said last year.
