I had to set my alarm at 8:30 when i slept at 4:30 -__-, and took me till now to access mugsi...and surprise surprise, the course selection is unavailable just like last night. btw, im loving the sarcasm on here XD

Has anyone called or e-mailed the school to find out when they think we will be able to access SOLAR? This is frustrating!!

registrar re solar
I spoke to the registrar office and they said that all of Mac is having computer issues (shocker), but we should have been able to log on. In fact, the registrar's office has access to SOLAR, but for some reason, students do not. They cannot assist you in SOLAR so do not bother to call and ask. She said to keep trying because at some point, it will work! annoying..........

Im not too worried. If youre the first one on, theres gonna be nothing to pick up anyway.
We have almost 2 full months to make all the changes, so there's no need to stress out be cause it's not ready to go at 9 AM on the first day.

i tried calling the registrar's office and it just goes straight a busy tone and then the line drops. i think they might be getting lots of calls which will hopefully get them to do something about it.
i don't think it's the computer issues that is stoping everyone from changing their courses. when i go on mugsi and choose solar it open a new window and the gradute, mba and summer course selections are all available as ar the payment agreements. it's just the fall/winter 2010 thats blocked. i think if there were computer problems you wouldn't be able to get solar or mugsi to work.
also it would be nice if mac used their website to let students know that solar is down and when it might be back up. it's more usefull daily news then the other stories they post...or do they expect us to keep trying solar all day in hope that at some point it works |
