Not surprising, seats are still being reserved because there are new students as well as those who didn't get a chance to register. It's really August 11th onward that will be the best time to get into the courses you want.

Ugh, great... now it's going to be full all day and I'll have to wait until about 4am when everything's taken.

McMaster should really be checking these forums regularly - you can pretty much chart the increase and decrease of MUGSI hate in a single day.

I got in once since this morning, just keep pressing ALT F4 when you get the 'full' window; it's faster that way.
I changed one of my courses, but another course I wanted is full. :/ Such is life.

F5 doesn't work, they changed it last year. Basically when you open MUGSI it opens to a portal first that redirects you to either MUGSI itself or the notice that it's full. So if you get the notice that it's full, pressing F5 will only refresh that same page over and over again.

if it's a required course for your program, they will. If it's an elective, then it depends on the department and which course it is. But I think it's always worth a shot, the only thing they can tell you is no =].
